Matthew is off pain meds and removed the stent today (I’ll spare you the details but feel free to watch a youtube tuturial and be scarred for life)!
Time to start checking off the last items on my GSD list.
Pack for the hospital (Matthew and myself)
Disinfect and turbo clean our bathroom
Organize rides for kids/shedules
Back-up plans depending on how the kids are feeling emotionally
Pre-plan meals/stock groceries for Tagg
Create meds list for dogs/schedule care
Stock dog food + treats
Normal Laundry
Extra laundry for extra towels and sheets on hand
Pack / organize school clothes for the week
Clean fridge out
Organize back up at work
Order post-op supplies for home
Schedule recliner delivery for post-op recovery
Hang tv in our bedroom
Get bedroom ready for post-op

Radical Nephrectomy
Tuesday, April 29th
5:45am check-in for surgery at MUSC Ashley Towers
Radical Nephrectomy (full removal of tumor, kidney and surrounding affected areas)
3-4 hour surgery
2-3 day hospital stay
PRAYER REQUESTS
Matthew remains calm and at peace and mentally prepared for surgery.
Wells and Tagg continue to feel loved and supported and know fully that everything will be ok.
