Mid-Week Ramblings + Real Housewives Recap
Y'all. Anyone else having one of those days? And it's not even 7am yet as I type. I was up most of the night with Tagg doing albuterol treatments, then he needed his favorite pillow he left downstairs at 1am when he remembered it was still there, finding him another blanket because he was cold and then helping him situate his covers when he got hot, and then there was the bloody nose. Oh man, remember the days when you could just roll over and fall back asleep so easily? Man, I miss those days! I must have fallen asleep at some point though because I remember a startling wake up around 6am to Wells yelling from her room for a foot rub *more on that below* and help getting ready for picture day. So I head downstairs, make my coffee, take the dog out, pack Tagg's lunch and start the usual morning routine when my phone rings.... no school. No School. NO. SCHOOL.
The power went out at their school over night and it's still not back on so they cancelled. Just called the whole day off. One kid is super excited and the other is less than thrilled. Man, what I wouldn't have done for a random holiday from school when I was a kid. I'm pretty sure my grade school would have had us sitting there all day in the dark.
I'd be pretty thrilled, too, but my least favorite part of a school day is getting everyone up early and packing lunches and I'd already checked that off my list. dang. I can't even remember the last time I sent them both to school on the same day--Wells was out--then Tagg was out--then it was Spring Break--then Wells was out--then Tagg was out--and now they cancel school on a random Wednesday. OMG.
Speaking of OMG, anyone else watching RHONY and RHOBH? Let's chat. I stopped watching NY a few seasons ago but a few of y'all suggested I catch up and you did not disappoint. Luann falling in the bushes in Mexico fully reenergized my commitment to these gals. Add in the preview of the countess spouting possibly the best line of the franchise yet there is zero chance I'm missing out.

In all reality I feel incredibly sorry for her. These ladies are driving their own trainwrecks at this point.
In other news, Erika Jayne singlehandedly pulled BH to the top of my list after a somewhat disappointing showing from OC. I'm tired of Tamra and Vickie. I can't decide if I like Krazy Kelly and the rest are just blah. Lydia's reappearance and dedication to ensuring screen time make me sad. It's clear her husband (or mom?) is running the show and feeding her drama to stir.
Back to BH, what are your thoughts on Dorit? I hated her and now I love her but I'm pretty sure it's more of a love to hate her but then I just can't hate her kind of thing. I feel like she desperately wants to be Erika Jayne but PK wants her to be Lisa Vanderpump. So what's the backstory on that relationship? Anyone know what deep dark twisted story keeps PK and Lisa tied to the same team because it feels like there's a story here. It's time for a new storyline away from the Kyle-Dorit-Lisa jealousy. Kyle misses her sisters and Lisa was told by the Illuminati to favor Dorit. We get it. I'm having fun watching EJ rise to the top of the pack. Girl is smart and on fire. She seems pretty untouchable at this point and I hope it stays that way. I like her.
