Some of you Gertie Girls may remember this phrase (teacups and crumpets!!!) from back in the day. As for the rest of you, it means WhooHoo or This is Amazing! I just realized that a fellow blogger has left a comment about my pink bathroom! She likey! She likey! I am completely tickled pink that someone other than family and a few dear friends have even seen this blog much less left a comment! la la lovely is a precious little blog and I urge you all to go check it out!

Most of her posts are about interior design and she shares not only her favorite design inspiration pictures, but, also real pictures from her house. I love that her house is a work in progress, just like mine, and that she shares her steps along the way. She also shares good books. I was thinking of starting that in my own blog. I used to be such an avid reader growing up thanks to my parents love of reading and I give all the credit to my dear friend Anne for fostering that love of books as an adult. I haven't read as much as I'd like since moving to Pawleys and maybe that would be a good way to start back up. If I'm going to blog about them then I have to actually read them first! But I digress, so back to la la lovely, in addition to fashion and decor, thrown into the mix are a few things that inspire the mind and soul because, after all, isn't that what it's really all about?
