If I had been a mom in the 80's I totally would have rocked the swooshy zip-up sweat set with a perm. In today's age that translates to athleisure-wear and a top knot (or typically pony tail in my case). I think athletic wear is officially here to stay as a mainstream part of wardrobe. And absolutely not restricted to actual working out. As a mom with young kids, what part of your day isn't working out? Or hitting up farmers markets and running errands or cleaning house on the weekends? That looks pretty athletic to me.
