Dressing Room Files
We have another wedding in Charleston coming up in a few weeks and I really want to wear something colorful. I tried on a few of the dresses I have been looking at online and usual the ones I loved in person weren't necessarily the ones I liked online. I thought you might like to see how they look on a real person too so I took one for the team with the awkward dressing room selfies.
You can order a size down in this dress. The cut is a little bit looser and straight in the middle. It was my favorite in person and I hadn't even noticed it online. Goes to show you have to try things on sometimes.
This dress fit true to size but I would note that it is really narrow in the rib cage so you might want to order a size up if you prefer a looser fit or more of a straight waistline. I also tried on the petite because they didn't have my size in the regular so it would be a tad longer normally. I was impressed by the thickness of the fabric and it definitely looks dressy in person. Plus it has pockets. Love a dress with pockets.
This dress was the most beautiful color, a rich deep fuchsia. It's also a fun with the off the shoulder look. I feel like this dress was made for dancing. I'm pretty tall and the length was still almost midi on me which is a nice contrast to the bare top.
This dress was another surprise favorite. It fit true to size and was really flattering. The fabric is a thick foam like material that holds it all in and smooths it all out. I also love that it looks like floral but is more abstract up close.
