Coffee Gift Idea | Milk & Honey Luxuries

As a mom who has been able to stay at home with my babies while still making a small contribution to my family's finances, there is nothing I love more than supporting small business.  Especially women owned businesses.  Add in a dose of "and it's a local business" and you've got me hooked.  While playing on instagram a few weeks ago, I stumbled upon a really cool feed featuring hand-made wares.  Hand stamped spoons mostly.  This took me to the Etsy site Milk & Honey Luxuries where I promptly spent 45 minutes browsing.

Milk and Honey Luxuries has been featured in People Magazine, The Today Show, Nordstrom Wedding Suites, Martha Stewart American Made, The Knot, and Anthropologie's BHLDN to name just a few.  Clearly I'm a bit late on the love train.  The owner, Sarah, is a wife and mother here in Richmond and is the sister-in-law of a friend of mine.  She is the main creative force behind Milk & Honey Luxuries but recently her husband left his job to join the family business.  Learn a bit more about the process and the family behind the business here.  Oh, and she's gorgeous, right.  That skirt!

It's no secret, I love coffee.  So when I found this "but first, coffee" spoon on her etsy site I knew I had to have it!  In fact, everyone knows how self-less I am with my family.  But one thing you'll hear daily in my house is, hold on baby momma's got to fix her coffee first. Or Okay sweet pea, let me just grab some more coffee real quick.  This spoon was made for me!

I also love these other coffee spoons.  Wouldn't they make the best gift?  You could attach it to a bag of roasted coffee or tied to a pretty mug.  Such a lovely and thoughtful gift.  And it's practical because all of these pieces are food safe.  What a happy little addition to my morning routine.

Here are a few more that caught my eye.  But really, there are so many.
