More specifically, my dad. And his friend John. They play music at the Farmer's Market. They specialize in live acoustic guitar, banjo, fiddle and mandolin. Folk music is their thing but you can make special requests too. The kids absolutely love them. I have the best memories of my dad's guitar and banjo playing throughout my life. If you were my friend in the early 90's and were invited for a sleep-over then you probably have these memories too. Most of the kids from St. Benedict's School will recognize the tunes as well, even if you weren't lucky enough to be invited to sleep over.
They also play at Crossroads on Thursday nights on Forrest Hill Avenue if Saturday mornings aren't for you.
