Gin + Tonic Bar

My new art print, going for a swim, from Minted arrived while we were at the beach and as soon as I opened it up I knew the perfect spot for it.  I started drinking gin + tonic with a lime while on vacation last week and I knew I wanted to create a little drink station at home.  Summer drink + summer memories. A perfect combination for an empty little corner in our living room.

So far I prefer the Hendrick's over the Bombay Sapphire but have yet to try the Tanqueray.  Looks like I've got a reason to pour a cocktail tonight!  All in the name of research, of course.  I squeeze half a lime in and it tastes just like a non-sweet limeade.  Yum.  I've been mixing with Schweppes but curious if you have any other tonic water you'd recommend trying out?  I might drive over to Homegoods or World Market and see if I can find some fancy looking bottles.  I'm a sucker for a good label.

Also, how pretty are those hand stamped cocktail napkins?  I bought a set of four from my girl Emily last year.  She is crazy talented and I am hoping she lists more for sale before Christmas.  They'd make a great gift.  She creates the most awesome hand stamped chinoiserie inspired goodies.

We spent the entire summer at the pool and I loved it.  I grew up swimming and pictures of the water always intrigue me.  I love this modern take on that.  Y'all know I love photography as well and I just can't get enough of Minted's photography art prints.  Check out a few more of my favorites below.
