date night {at home}
So does anyone else spend one too many friday nights at home in sweatpants?
Wether you have kids or not it's all too easy to slip into something comfy and go do your own thing.
Picture this: Two kids upstairs in bed, me in front of Bravo onDemand and the iPad with Matthew in the next room on the computer eating a sandwhich.
Even with free babysitting sometimes it's just not practical to go on dates and I'm finding us slipping into a lame routine.
So I started a little project with my husband.
Date Night At Home
Little effort lots of conversation. You know like when you're still dating and you try to make everything special. Well that's what we're doing in our house now.
Our first attempt involved grocery store sushi on real china sitting at a table drinking champagne.
No sweatpants allowed.
It was awesome.
Didn't break the bank and totally felt like quality time.
Do y'all have any similar ideas or do the same thing?

And a comfy outfit choice that doesn't involve oversized boxers and stained t-shirt.
