So we finally purchased a crib and mattress for baby boy!

We went with the Baby Mod Modena from Walmart.

Here's my quick review of the process minus any baby actually sleeping in it.

{Much to Wells' disappointment; start as you mean to go right}

We ordered online for a crazy cheap price, only $250, and got free shipping to store.

It arrived less than a week later in perfect condition.

No missing or banged up pieces.

Quick assembly.

{took the hubs less than 20 minutes}

It's sturdy and crazy good looking.

I adore the sleek modern look and I love that all the sides are equal height.

I had the hardest time finding that in my price range when shopping for Wells' crib.

When the mattress is on the top setting it needs a custom crib skirt to hide the open middle space left by the raised slats and still hit the floor.

That's okay.

I quickly whipped one up.

And then another the next day with some amaze fabric I found locally.

I'm fickle like that.
