What a rainy couple of days we've had. They were perfect for being lazy and resting and just what I needed before a busy week.

BabyGirl turns 3 weeks old today and I feel like I'm finally starting to get into the swing of things. We're all starting to get into a routine and about to implement BabyWise which makes me giddy in hopes of future nights of sleep. I've heard it works like magic for anyone who really follows it.

Any advice is welcome!!!

Tomorrow is her big 3week appointment and I am PRAYING that BabyGirl has gained enough weight. We had several failed attempts surrounding her first appointment and I can't handle it if we don't pass tomorrow. Of course I know if we have too much success and BabyGirl has gotten too big I will cry all the same because she is growing and won't stay my little baby bug forever.

*sigh*

Wednesday my Mother comes back.

THANK. YOU. LORD.

I'm really impressed with how well Matthew and I have fared on our own but it will be so nice to have another pair of skilled hands around the house to help around the clock. My mom is a night owl and doesn't mind the late shift. My cousin Katie is also coming to help out and snuggle on our little bug for a few days.

This means Matthew and I can actually go out on a date.

A real one.

And we'll be rested enough to enjoy it.

Friday we have an appointment with our pediatric neurosurgeon, Dr. Glazier, from MUSC. Yes, you read that right. BabyGirl's head is football shaped and she was diagnosed with Craniosynostosis at birth.
Go ahead and google it. I already have.
She will most likely need surgery to correct the premature closure of several fissures in her skull. That's pretty much all we know until we meet with the experts this week so I promise to fill you in as we get more information.

And, tomorrow we have guest blogger Keely from Luxe+Lillies stopping by for a chat so don't miss out on her fabulous post!

And here's a little something to leave you with!
PS-there's more if you follow the link, Posh BabyGirl, on the sidebar.
